These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of YourAuto ("YourAuto", "we", "us"), a reverse marketplace for cars that connects buyers with sellers. By creating an account or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. What YourAuto Is
YourAuto is a matching platform — not a car dealership, marketplace escrow service, or party to any sale. Buyers post requests describing the car they're looking for. Sellers and importers browse open requests and submit offers on specific vehicles. If a buyer accepts an offer, YourAuto reveals both parties' contact details so they can continue directly with each other. All negotiation, payment, inspection, and delivery of the vehicle happens off-platform, between the buyer and the seller — YourAuto does not process payments, hold funds in escrow, or handle any other part of the transaction itself.
2. Accounts
You need an account to post requests or submit offers. You must provide accurate information when signing up, including a valid phone number for seller accounts (used so buyers can reach you once an offer is accepted). Seller accounts go through a manual verification review before being marked "Verified" — an unverified badge doesn't mean an account is fraudulent, only that it hasn't been reviewed yet. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: post fake requests or offers; upload photos you don't have the right to use; misrepresent a vehicle's condition, ownership, or specifications; use the platform to harass other users; or attempt to circumvent rate limits, verification, or other safeguards. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
4. We Are Not a Party to Your Transaction
YourAuto does not inspect vehicles, verify VINs, guarantee pricing, or confirm that a seller actually has the vehicle they've described. Buyers and sellers are each responsible for independently verifying a vehicle's condition, title, and legal status before completing any transaction. Any agreement to buy or sell a vehicle is solely between the buyer and the seller — YourAuto is not a party to it, is not responsible for its performance, and has no liability for disputes arising from it.
5. Fees
YourAuto does not currently charge buyers or sellers to post requests, submit offers, or complete a match. If we introduce fees for any part of the platform in the future, we'll announce the change and update these Terms before it takes effect.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of the photos and descriptions you upload, but you grant YourAuto a license to display them on the platform for the purpose of operating the service — for example, showing a buyer's reference photos to sellers browsing that request. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to upload any photo you post.
7. Disclaimers
YourAuto is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any request will receive an offer, or that any offer reflects a fair or accurate price.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, YourAuto and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, or from any transaction you enter into with another user. Since the platform is currently free to use, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to a nominal amount.
9. Termination
You may stop using YourAuto and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or pose a risk to other users, with or without notice.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use YourAuto after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
