1. Data We Collect

• Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
• Phone number, for seller accounts — used so buyers can contact you once an offer is accepted.
• Photos you upload: buyers' reference photos and sellers' vehicle photos.
• Request and offer details you enter, such as make, model, year, budget, destination country, VIN, price, and any notes you add.
• Usage analytics via PostHog: pages viewed and key funnel events (a request posted, an offer submitted, an offer accepted) — not raw prices or the contents of your requests/offers.
• Basic technical data (IP address, browser type) used for security, rate-limiting, and abuse prevention.

2. How We Use This Data

We use your data to operate the matching platform: creating and authenticating your account, reviewing seller verification, sending notification emails about matching requests and new offers, preventing spam and fraud, and understanding usage so we can improve the product.

3. Sharing Your Data

We don't sell your personal data. Your contact details (phone/email) are only revealed to the other party once you accept or are party to an accepted offer — sellers can't see a buyer's contact info before that, and vice versa. A small number of service providers process data on our behalf to run the platform:

• Fly.io — application hosting
• Neon — Postgres database hosting
• Cloudflare R2 — photo storage
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• PostHog — product usage analytics
• Sentry — error monitoring

4. Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or ask us to delete it, we'll remove your personal data within a reasonable time, except where we need to keep limited records for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.

5. Your Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@yourauto.ge. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

YourAuto stores your session (so you stay logged in) and your language/currency preferences in your browser. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

YourAuto is not directed at, and we don't knowingly collect data from, anyone under 18 years old.

9. International Data Transfers

YourAuto primarily serves Georgia and the wider CIS region, but the service providers listed above may store or process data in other countries. By using YourAuto, you consent to your data being processed in those locations.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
